Een Engelse vrouw die in 2004 is overleden
aan de ziekte van Alzheimer bleek bij sectie grote hoeveelheden aan aluminium in haar
hersenen te hebben. Zestien jaar voor haar dood was er bij een fout maar liefst 20 ton
aluminium sulfaat in lokale drinkwater reservoirs terechtgekomen waaruit maar liefst
20.000 mensen hebben gedronken.
De link tussen bepaalde vormen van dementie
en aluminium was al langer bekend maar de link met Alzheimer is nog steeds een
discussie punt maar lijkt in deze zaak toch wel duidelijk. Al jaren waarschuwen
wetenschappers voor het gebruik van aluminium pannen, folie, cosmetica en vele soorten
kleurstoffen in onze voeding. Met name de felle kleuren rood, groen en blauw bevatten een
wateroplosbare kleurstof (E173) die op aluminium is gebaseerd.
Er komt steeds meer bewijs dat aluminium
zich in de zenuwcellen kan ophopen.

• water dat aangevoerd wordt via loden leidingen. Dit laatste kan het geval zijn in
huizen gebouwd voor 1950. Over de buitenleidingen kunt u informatie krijgen bij het
waterleidingbedrijf, over de binnenleidingen bij de huiseigenaar.
• water uit waterputten (zelfs wanneer het gekookt is).
Naast meerdere, heel verschillende
micro-organismen bevatten de standaardvaccins nog veel meer ingrediënten. Dit kunnen
conserveringsmiddelen, adjuvantia (hulpstoffen die zelf niet werkzaam zijn maar de werking
van het vaccin ondersteunen) en antibiotica zijn. Voorbeelden zijn de carcinogenen
aluminium en kwikderivaat. Formaldehyde en formaline, eveneens kankerverwekkende stoffen,
worden gebruikt om een virus te verzwakken. Bovendien worden veel micro-organismen
gekweekt op weefsels van andere diersoorten (kippen- en eendenembryo’s) waardoor
lichaamsvreemde eiwitten met het vaccin mee ingespoten worden.

Aluminium and bone diseases
Infants and adults who received large doses
of aluminum as a treatment for another problem developed bone diseases, which suggests
that aluminum may cause skeletal problems. Some sensitive people develop skin rashes from
using aluminum chlorohydrate deodorants.
Some soy-based formulas may contain high
levels of aluminum, so parents may want to consult with their physician when choosing an
infant formula.
Acid washing in aluminum tanks leaches high
levels of aluminum into the final product. As a result, soy-based formula also has over
1000% more aluminum than conventional milk based formulas.

telling the truth postmortem, the world’s governments may soon be facing one hell of
a lawsuit. New, so-far-unpublished research led by Vancouver neuroscientist Chris Shaw
shows a link between the aluminum hydroxide used in vaccines, and symptoms associated with
Parkinson’s, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease), and
Alzheimer’s. Shaw is most surprised that the research for his paper hadn’t been
done before. For 80 years, doctors have injected patients with aluminum hydroxide, he
said, an adjuvant that stimulates immune response.

The results showed that orange juice greatly enhanced aluminium absorption and should not
therefore be taken in conjunction with aluminium-containing antacid preparations.

Aluminum is environmentally abundant, but
not an essential element. Aluminum has been associated with several neurodegenerative
diseases, such as dialysis encephalopathy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Parkinsonism
dementia in the Kii peninsula and Guam, and in particular, Alzheimer's disease. Although
this association remains controversial, there is increasing evidence which suggests the
implication of metal homeostasis in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. Aluminum,
zinc, copper, and iron cause the conformational changes of Alzheimer's amyloid-beta
protein. Al causes the accumulation of tau protein and amyloid-beta protein in
experimental animals. Aluminum induces neuronal apoptosis in vivo as well as in vitro.
Furthermore, a relationship between aluminum and the iron-homeostasis or
calcium-homeostasis has been suggested. Based on these findings, the characteristics of
aluminum neurotoxicity are reviewed, and the potential link between aluminum and
neurodegenerative diseases is reconsidered.

A study was undertaken to determine Al, Mg
and P concentrations in 5 different brain regions of 3 control and 3 Alzheimer-diseased
patients. One of the aims of this work was to evaluate the performance of applied
analytical techniques. The digested samples were analyzed by inductively coupled plasma
atomic emission spectrometry for Al, Mg and P. The dried samples were measured by
instrumental neutron activation analysis for Al and Mg. The determination of human brain
Al levels is complicated by the interfering reaction of P. We have previously worked out
an analytical method which can eliminate this interference. The accuracy of the measured
data was investigated by the analysis of biological standard reference materials. Our
second goal was to study the possible elemental concentration changes in
Alzheimer-diseased patients. Significantly higher Al and lower Mg and P values were found
in some AD brain regions compared to the controls.

BACKGROUND: The concentration of aluminum
or silica in drinking water may be a potential environmental risk factor for Alzheimer
disease (AD). CONCLUSIONS: Silica in drinking water may reduce the risk of
developing AD in elderly women. The results corroborate those of another epidemiologic
study carried out in France. The potential effect of silica needs to be confirmed in
additional investigations.
